RoofPoint is the first comprehensive roof rating system for the assessment and selection of sustainable roof systems. Organized around five primary categories: energy management, materials management, water management, durability/life-cycle management, and innovation, RoofPoint provides a comprehensive roadmap for achieving sustainable low-slope roofing systems. As a first step to introduce RoofPoint to the marketplace and promote industry discussion, the Center is sponsoring an industry-wide public comment process covering the key elements and strategies of RoofPoint. – CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL INNOVATION IN ROOFING - CEIR

Tecta America Southeast was founded as General Works in 1990 and became part of Tecta America in 2005. Today, with over 100 employees, we are based in Sanford, FL with a Service operation in Jacksonville to serve the growing Central and North Florida regions. The industries best in Roof Maintenance and Service, Environmental Roof Solutions, Theme Park Roof Crafts, and Traditional Commercial Roofing.

Our award winning facility is now home to the Tecta Southeast Regional Office.

Michael Winant, President 
Michael Winant our President of Tecta America Central Florida is a 3rd generation roofing contractor, and brings us vast commercial experience from his life-long family roofing business, as well as his 18 years of service with Tecta America Central Florida. He currently oversees all business operations and provides our customers with a superior degree of roofing knowledge for all of their commercial roofing and repair situations.

Norm Kirkpatrick, Commercial Department Manager
Norm Kirkpatrick manages our Commercial Department and Theme Park work. Norm has an AAS Degree in Architectural Engineering along with 21 years experience in construction management, including 14 years in the roofing industry. Norm's previous positions during his career included construction engineering assistant, field supervisor, estimator and project manager. Norm joined the Tecta America Central Florida team in June, 2006.

Terry Mulroney, Service Department Manager
Terry Mulroney has over 30 years of roofing experience in both commercial and residential roofing. Terry began working with Tecta America Central Florida in 1997 as a crew leader. Due to his outstanding customer service skills, Terry was tasked with running service crews. He was then promoted to manager of the Service Department to continue to grow the department through sales and excellent service.

Geoff Hagan, Environmental Solutions Manager
Geoff Hagan is Tecta America Central Florida's Environmental Solutions Manager. He has 14 years experience in the roofing industry and holds a BA Degree from Kent State University. Geoff is LEED AP, NABCEP Certified PV Technical Sales, and RISE Certified Solar Roofing Professional. Geoff specializes in everything "green." He is our "go to guy" for photovoltaic solar systems, vegetative roofs, cool reflective roofs and solar tubes.

Luis Hernandez, Safety Manager
Luis Hernandez is an experienced and accomplished Safety Professional with over 25 years of combined experience in safety and risk management in both General Industry and Construction. Luis has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology which complements Tecta's behavior based safety philosophy.
